WONDERLAND LOVES

A cool chill calls for Nautica, neat shirts, foxy knitwear and unlocking new worlds. Here’s everything the Wonderland team loves right now.

Cinta The Label – Ari Knit

Knitwear season is upon us! I took all of my jumpers and cardigans out of their summer home (AKA storage bags in the loft) a few weeks ago to find that, despite meticulous methods, my archenemies, the moths, had gotten in and had one hell of a feast. While I look for someone to do the repair, I’ve been scouring the internet for a few bits to tide me over. Cinta The Label’s new release, the Ari Knit, is beyond fab. Perfect for when I can’t stand the idea of trekking it back to Zone 3 to change before going out to dinner.

Side Eye NYC

Wonderland Loves

Sunglasses in October are maybe not the most obvious buy, but they go hand in hand with a giant coat on a bright, crisp day. If Side Eye NYC are not yet on your radar, you need only take a closer look at pap pics of Bella, Kendall, Kaia or Vittoria from the last few months. The 223 Butler St are ideal for covering enough of my face this winter for anyone to tell that I am dead behind the eyes ’til May comes around.

Nautica

It’s getting chilly out, which means a revamp of the wardrobe is quickly becoming overdue. For me, that means a cheeky trip aboard Nautica for a couple of snug pieces. It makes me kinda feel like I went to private school, which I shouldn’t love, but on this occasion I’m into it. The preppy, clean and smart-but-sporty-casual aesthetic oozes charm and confidence, ready to anchor a classic look or set sail to originality alike.

Bowers & Wilkins Pi8

Wonderland Loves

I’m somewhat of a Bowers & Wilkins stan at this point. My everyday pair is the Px8 Over-Ear, which are 10/10 for sound, but if I’m out and about without a bag, a bit annoying to carry around. In steps the Pi8 – a delightful In-Ear pairing that fits nicely in the pocket while not diminishing the industry-leading sonic excellence.

Corbin Shaw at The Groucho Club

It’s Frieze O’Clock in the Big Smoke, which means it’s time to pretend to know more about art than I do. Luckily, one of London’s top talents, Corbin Shaw, is keeping things entertaining and digestible. Taking over Soho’s dazzling The Groucho Club, he’s putting on Feast of Fools, a new public art installation, with works from a panoply of rising stars, running up until mid-November. Lovely stuff.

ASOS x adidas Originals Collection 05

Wonderland Loves

For their fifth collection, ASOS x Adidas is flirting with the season. Warm-toned colour blocking and patterns galore – we’re talking anything plaid and plain to mock snakeskin and animal stripes – this collection gives you every day some collared, and coloured, elevation. My personal highlight? The brown checkered track jacket with the bedazzled neck. Need I say more…

A.P.C x Barbour

Wonderland Loves

Parisian utilitarian chic meets the sleek, country edge with this A.P.C x Barbour collaboration. With a collection of both menswear and womenswear, it’s got both your clean cuts and your playful motifs across A.P.C’s effortlessly cool shirts and Barbour’s signature jackets – which, did you know their coat zippers double as a can opener? You do now. And they’ve not stopped at the apparel; the accessories beg to be wardrobe staples, from a wide, reversible dark blue denim tote which can be turned into the custom-made Barbour tartan print, or the quilted crossbody bag of the same pattern, this versatile collection presents the nouveau basics, some core classics and just the right pieces to get you those second glances – whether in Paris’s 9th Arrondissement or London’s Nine Elms.

Sifali Skin

You may have noticed that your skin is turning like the weather – neither for better nor for worse, but perhaps it’s shifted enough to have different needs. Well, Sifali Skin to the rescue! The urban, skin philosophical sanctuary has reopened just in time for the colder seasons with a spectacular new space. Its founder, Jaya Aziz, alongside interior design director Nnoro Dan have transformed the local hotspot into the peaceful abyss it was destined to be – a more tailored-to home for the massage goodness that takes place within the Belsize Park realm. And it’s not that it wasn’t cosy before, but it’s even more so now a place you don’t want to leave. Get booking, your Temel facial awaits…

PACHA Ibiza

Wonderland Loves

If there was ever a time to pop my Pacha cherry, it was this year… And I’m ever so glad I did. Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of heading to Pacha Ibiza for Solomun+1, his legendary Sunday residency where he shares the decks with one special guest each week, all under the mantra “Nobody Is Not Loved”. This time round, he spun alongside Barry Can’t Swim, while I enjoyed a front-row seat from the VIP balcony. The vibe? Electric. The venue? Completely transportive. And when my friends and I needed a little pause from the party, we headed to the Sunrise Psicodelia for drinks — the inspiration behind the VIP Garden’s latest addition, The Pacha Collection store (which, naturally, is where I ended up spending the rest of my holiday budget. Still have zero regrets). If you’re thinking about booking that last-minute flight for closing season, I implore you to do it — whether it’s at Pacha Ibiza, Pacha ICONS at Destino Five Ibiza and WooMooN, just don’t leave Ibiza without dancing under the cherries…

MOU Boots

Wonderland Loves

It is finally – and I really mean finally – the season of the boot. And what better way to celebrate autumn’s arrival than by treating yourself to a pair of new stompers? I certainly did, heading to Oxford Street’s Schuh to browse the latest collections. I walked away with a pair of MOUs, which I can only describe as UGGs on steroids: comfy, warm, stylish, and boasting a hell of a platform to keep the rain off the suede. But I didn’t just leave with a new pair; I also came away with an ever-growing wishlist, which I now dutifully share with you. Schuh’s AW26 collection and latest campaign are making my autumn shopping wishlist spiral out of control, with slouchy denim boots, 90s-inspired knee-highs and a rather fabulous zebra-print boot all vying for a place in my wardrobe. Consider my autumn footwear situation far from resolved… Stay tuned.
