Miris y Maíz at Paradise Soho

Nothing gets me more excited than a new London eat and this month, Paradise Soho takes the cake. I know what you’re thinking – Paradise has been a not-so-hidden culinary institution since it opened in 2019. Enter Dom Fernando – the Sri Lankan restaurant’s latest resident chef, putting a mouth-watering Mexican spin on some classic dishes. Miris y Maíz at Paradise is serving up fiery Devilled Buffalo Milk Paneer tacos and the gooiest Grilled Paratha Quesadilla – talk about a match made in heaven, right! Wash things down with a cherry-infused margarita and finish on an indulgent Tres Leche Cake (topped with creamy burnt meringue and swimming in a pool of whiskey and arrack-infused milk) and you have yourself the meal of champions. The residency is on until the 6th of September so I suggest you get yourselves down for a taste ASAP.
ICECREAM womenswear

No one does streetwear quite like Pharrell Williams and NIGO – and their brainchild brand ICECREAM is the proof. The pair have decided to take that legacy to the next level this year by debuting a womenswear line – and what a dream it is. I am talking baggy, low-rise camo pants, emblazoned with their infamous Running Dog Tag and a candy-toned Houndstooth Knit sure to brighten up any ‘fit. Thanks for the new uniform, ICECREAM.

DKNY Spring-Summer 2025

In a last-ditch attempt to hold onto the sun-drenched skies of London’s record-breaking summer, I’ve found myself reaching for pieces from DKNY’s Spring-Summer ’25 capsule regardless of the forecast. The collection channels the spirit of New York City with a confident ease that’s perfect for the in-between seasons. Think double denim (or is it leather disguised as denim?), playful festival-inspired touches, and sporty-luxe loungewear that effortlessly transitions from supermarket runs to Super Bowl parties, from the kitchen straight to the club. Coats and jackets? Not on my watch. It’s my wardrobe and I’ll freeze if I want to.
Daus Mendoza’s Glamlite Collection

Daus just dropped what might be the most iconic collab of the year with Glamlite (and no, that’s not hyperbole). I was lucky enough to get my paws on the full collection—and let’s just say, my makeup bag will never be the same. At the heart of it all is a kaleidoscopic eyeshadow palette serving up everything from everyday neutrals to full-spectrum colour moments. Also in the mix are ’90s-inspired lip kits, ultra-soft brightening powders that snatch in all the right places, cheek-popping blush trios and a mirror to admire the artistry. Consider this a full-blown beauty glow-up invite.

True Religion is the brand for the now. The American brand is everywhere in London right now, powering an intimate party with Central Cee’s events team, Live Yours 365 in September. I recently picked up a few pieces – some three-quarter jorts and a classic demin jacket number – and I can’t stop wearing them.
Kickers’ new Kick Hi boot capsule

A stalwart of British lineage and a brand that has always and continues to push footwear into exciting new spaces, Kickers needs no introduction. But right now, they do need celebration: it’s 50 years of the iconic Kick Hi boot! To celebrate, the brand has launched a limited edition capsule collection of two new designs – Goldie and Stitch. The perfect offering for the winter months, these are going to be a dream to style – cop here.
adidas Superstar: The Original Icon

adidas is really owning this year. Their latest massive campaign comes in the form of Superstar: The Original Icon, a sleek, classic and timeless new drop celebrating their roots. It comes with a massive celeb line-up – from Stormzy to Olivia Dean, Jude Bellingham to Barry Keoghan – and also a bunch of VERY fun events in London last week, merging fashion, skating and music.
Earl Sweatshirt’s Live Laugh Love

The new full-length joint from the legendary Earl Sweatshirt is his best work in years. Earl feels mature, more elegant, hungrier; a masterclass of refining a motion and making it your own. One of the most slept on artists of his time. Check it out.
Anderson .Paak’s Jameson collab

Anderson. Paak is one of music’s good guys. Eternally creative, morally astute, cool as a courgette. For the second year running, he’s just collaborated with Jameson Irish Whiskey for Jameson Distilled Sounds, an initiative that revolves around leading and mentoring a new group of 20 rising artists from across the globe. It’s a great idea with one of the very best around at its crux. Bravo, Mr. Paak!

Brasserie Constance

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river Thames passing through Bishops Park. A stellar welcome service under the chandelier-lit room. An atmosphere that allows you to clock out of your 9-to-5 and ease into the butter-yellow velvet decorated seats. There’s much to indulge in walking into Brasserie Constance, even before setting your eyes on the delectable three-course meal to be.
On the menu you’ll find the British classics – coronation chicken, Dorset crab, and the like. A vegetarian favourite was the summer tart, a light yet filling option for those opting away from the meats, willing to make more than a dent in their starter, main, and dessert. And to top it all off, a sommelier-recommended sweet white wine will be just the right companion for this culinary trip.
