PREMIERE: DANNY DWYER — “LATE ONCE AGAIN”

The rising star’s newest single is an experimental, yet nostalgic, blend of indie pop and alt rock.

Following the release of his latest double EP, Losers, LA-based artist and producer Danny Dwyer has released a new single, “Late Once Again”. The track has a 90’s, nostalgia-infused sound and is dedicated to everyone who feels like they don’t fit in. Perfect for long nights out, it is an homage to bad decisions, mistakes, and the mornings spent cleaning them up. A glorious blend of indie pop and alt rock, it highlights the artist-producer’s remarkable ability to combine singer-songwriter storytelling and synth soundscapes in unique manners, feeling both experimental and familiar at once. A little cheeky, infused with vibes of lazy summer days, its release is perfectly timed for the sunny weekends ahead.

“When I made this song I became really obsessed with the narrative behind a lot of slacker 2000’s music such as “Smash Mouth” and “Sugar Ray” and developed a deep appreciation for their philosophy on life. I made this song as a tongue in cheek homage to this music. “Late Once Again” is the soundtrack to bad decisions”, shares Danny Dwyer.

Danny rose to fame with his debut single, “What You Want”, back in 2017. Since then, he has been experimenting with crossing genres and thematics — arriving at the impeccable, one-of-a-kind sound he reveals with “Late Once Again”. We cannot wait for more!
