Legends of The Seven Golden Vampires is the exciting collaboration of producer/multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Foster and DJ Luke Hadron. Foster, who made his name playing in multiple indie bands in the 80s and 90s, decided to try move into the production field, and has found him great success multiple scenes in the years since. A stalwart of the game, he has recently linked up with Hadron to work on this passion project for the pair. They released their debut offering, “Autumn Fall”, which saw them achieve strong stats and industry love.

The new track, “Close To You”, is an ode to various sub styles of music that the duo grew up on. A seamless amalgamation of genres as far ranging as psychedelic funk, northern soul and extreme metal, the cut showcases the knowledge and craft of Foster and Hadron. The groove-laden bass is a gravitational centre-pull for the disco-esque sampling and spritely percussion, with the track twisting and turning through its flowing sections effortlessly.

This is the work of two highly skilled musicians who are keeping us on our toes and pushing stylistic boundaries.
