“If you’re never nervous, I don’t think it means anything to you. I think excitement overshadowed the nerves to a certain extent. I just wanted to learn from you guys so much. It’s rare you get these opportunities, especially as a young Black actor, bro, our stories don’t really get told like that. I knew that them opportunities are few and far between as much as you’d like to think they’re not.”
