PREMIERE: SEEVA – “SUBURBIA”

The artist unveils his latest single and visual featuring Kaisha to celebrate all forms of love.

Proving themselves to be a match made in synthesized heaven, Seeva and Kaisha collaborate to create their symphonic single, “Suburbia”. Over a ballad of light guitar strings, Seeva opens the track with his signature light vocals while singing of how the world changes its appearance when you are in and out of love. Yet when we think the song is just on the cusp of the typical breakup anthem, a bedroom-pop style beat drop ensues — breaking into an all consuming chorus filled with an infectious feel-good vibe.

Blended with the vocal stylings of Kaisha, the track is an exemplar of Seeva’s effortless ability to narrate stories through every aspect of his artistry — whether it be in lyrics, in melody or within a music video. In the visual for “Surburbia”, the artist appears to be a cardboard cut-out of the patriarchy-perfect male, yet he finally finds his own groove at the track’s chorus — sporting an iridescent sequin-covered top in a total celebration of love.

Hacked from his new EP “Afterthoughts”, Seeva continues to charge through the world of pop — even gearing up to perform his first headline show at Colours Hoxton in June. So to stream the visual for “Suburbia” now, head below…
