Speaking on the release, the artist said, “During the height of COVID, I listened to music to feel comforted. I wanted to write something that felt soothing, and as this is a song about a friendship, I decided to write from a more empathic angle.”

Sitting comfortably between the likes of Kate Bush and David Lynch with her soul-baring and genre-bending sound, Tuvaband has gone on to cultivate over 40 million streams on Spotify and a release with the Norwegian Grammy-nominated producer Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser.
