BIA ft J. Cole – “London”

Kick-starting this week’s Wonderlist with a bang is BIA and J. Cole with their drill-influenced single “London”. Paying homage to the streets in the single, the two rappers go back and forth over a braggadocious production, while shouting out areas such as Shoreditch and the Thames. Oh and the accompanying video? Keep an eye out, as a few of our favourite UK stars make an appearance.

Camila Cabello – Familia

It might not seem like it, but summer is well and truly on the way, and getting us in the mood is the chart-topping singer-songwriter Camila Cabello with her third album Familia. From the fiesta-ready “La Buena Vida” to the sultry “psychofreak” with WILLOW, Cabello unleashes an immersive experience upon us, as she brings us into her most personable and candid project yet. With fans already rinsing and repeating the album on the TL, we suggest adding this to your summer playlist.

Noah Cyrus – “I Burned LA Down”

Serving up the country vibes this week with her new track is Noah Cyrus with “I Burned LA Down”. Laying it bare with a simplistic yet thought-provoking release, Cyrus gets candid on her breakup and dealing with anxiety throughout the production, while touching out just how complex and difficult inner struggles can be. Serving as an introductory to her forthcoming debut album The Hardest Part, Cyrus delivers a breathtaking song that has us in our feels.

SYN Cole ft Carla Monroe – “Overdrive”

After the week we’ve had, we’re in the party mood, and SYN Cole is aiding this with the release of his new single “Overdrive” with London singer-songwriter Carla Monroe. Packed with retro synths and a pounding bassline, the duo take us straight to the main room of the club where anything goes. With festival season around the corner, we can’t wait to hear this in full effect surrounded by good vibes and the blazing sun.

NATIVE Sound System – “Runaway”

Slowing things down slightly with their dreamy release is NATIVE Sound System with “Runaway”. Intimately introducing us to an otherworldly soundscape with atmospheric drums and oscillating synths, the DJ collective enlist Lojay and Ayra Starr for a gorgeous dreamlike track that leaves you in a soothing trance. Need some relaxation? Put this on full blast.

French Kiwi Juice feat Santana – “Greener”

We all know how the saying goes: save the best ’till last. So, it was only fair that French Kiwi Juice’s “Greener” rounded off this week’s Wonderlist. With the experimental artist crashing into new music Friday with an electric cut sure to enchant, we are treated to a dose of the artist’s heavenly tone as he blends neo-soul sensibilities and charged instrumentation masterfully on his newest release. With the artist’s idol and fellow seasoned musician Santana joining the project in a bid to add the sun-soaked twang that makes it so infectious, it becomes a release that is impossibly earworming and undeniably repeat-worthy. Also standing as the first release of FKJ’s upcoming album V I N C E N T, “Greener” makes it clear that 2022 is set to be his year, and for that we are truly thankful.
