Coming at us full force just in time for the weekend with some much needed indie-pop energy, is Ora Violet with their new single “Give Up The Crown”. Lifted from their forthcoming debut album, the band take us through an intense production brimming with feverous guitar melodies and atmospheric punk rock elements. Sitting comfortably between the likes of Bloc Party and Arctic Monkeys with their versatile and 70s inspired sound, the group deliver the perfect dosage of punk rock and we’re already craving more.

Tying in the release with the announcement of their debut album of the same name, the group consisting of production duo Black Tiles, Nick Ferman, Adam Liston and jeet Mulkerj tease that their debut album will follow the same premise and continue their rambunctious sound. Keeping their cards close to their chest in regards to the release date, we say keep a close eye on the group in the coming months as big things are coming their way.
