For her latest audio-visual project, Aivi Ana invites her fans to unwind and sink into her ethereal soundscape — carefully moulded into a new visual for her fresh single “Flashes”. The featured track offers insight into the running themes of her first debut EP “Adrift In A Modern World” — a collection of soul-bearing vocals entwined with dreamlike instrumentals. While the track begins with a gentle collation of rising synths, the visual starts with the artist cascading down the path of an eery forest. As the production builds and Aivi’s chime-like melodies come into play, the figure comes to a pensive stroll. Dressed in a floor length gown, her flowing skirt encapsulates the wind-like whispers of the artist’s modern torch vocals. Flashing between light and dark, the video is both suspense-filled yet ironically calming.

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Aivi Ana has cultivated a sound which touches on mystery, tugging the chords of her listener’s subconscious. Exploring the essence of loneliness and wonder within human nature, much of Aivi Ana’s compositions have been inspired by her dreams. This is potent in her new music video, with her echo-like tunes reminiscent of a lucid mental state.
