From the mind of contemporary visionary Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton returns with the second part of their Pre-Spring 2021 collection, Louis Vuitton 2054. Experimenting with functional fashion and activewear, the designer fuses urban sensibility with lush winter jackets for a multi-climatic collection. Using methods found in professional skiwear, the collection is made for harsh and changing weather conditions found in the blistering cold alps and mountains. The multifaceted textures of nylon run through this collection, as they are paired with bold green and black jackets evoking the luminosity of night vision.

Elsewhere in the collection, ski-suits and padded trousers are another focal points, as the designer fuses properties of water repellence with breathability for mountain to city looks. Leather parkas adorned with 3D-printed patterns and transformable garments are also statement pieces that stand-out in the collection, as various textures are used to create mind-bending illusions.
