Teasing his new song earlier this week, Shawn Mendes has dropped his new ballad “Wonder” – alongside an equally powerful Matty Peacock-directed video. Debuting an impressive video shot in a dreamy forest with crashing waves and interpretive dancing, the former Wonderland cover star boasts building productions with explosive yearning choruses that’ll land you straight into your feels.

Alongside the new single and video, the singer announced that his new album, titled Wonder, will be released December 4th, stating, “It really feels like a piece of me has been written down on paper and recorded into song. I tried to be as real and as honest as I’ve ever been. It’s a world and a journey and a dream and an album I’ve been wanting to make for a really long time.” The album is a follow up to Mendes’ extraordinary self-titled third album which dropped in 2018. The new album is looking like an early Christmas present we needed.
