“One house, different voices.” Moncler Genius have long been giving a voice to personal creativity with their pioneering hub – inviting designers to give their unique take on the brand (nods to JW Anderson and Richard Quinn).
The latest designer to take the helm is “godfather of streetwear” Hiroshi Fujiwara – who has turned the ordinary into the extraordinary with his brand new collaboration. Vintage, military, urban and tech references get a contemporary and fresh twist – splashed upon streetwear staples for maximum effect. Bomber jackets emblazoned with the cover art from Kool & The Gang’s Spirit of the Boogie, and sweaters featuring the longitude and latitude of Fujiwara’s favourite Parisian restaurant. And in a collaboration with sneaker titans Converse, the iconic Chuck Taylor comes in two colourways, featuring a Japanese minimal box stitch.
