Tyler, the Creator is having a moment. After his 2015 ban on entering the U.K. – imposed by then-Home Secretary Theresa May – was lifted earlier this year, the Odd Future rapper made a surprise return to London with an Instagram post outside Buckhingham Palace, announcing a gig which was soon cancelled due to fans flocking the venue being “too rowdy”.
Now, Tyler’s announced the all-star line-up for the eighth annual part-festival, part-carnival, Camp Flog Gnaw, which he curates. Artists include Willow Smith, GoldLink, FKA Twigs and BROCKHAMPTON, alongside Solange, who featured on the rapper’s latest album, IGOR.
The festival, which takes place at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, teases a spot on the line-up of dreams which is yet to be confirmed. We’re putting our money on “Who Dat Boy” collaborator A$AP Rocky, whose recent release from a Swedish prison was celebrated by an ecstatic Tyler on Instagram.
