We’re no stranger to the smile-inducing tempos of Ella Eyre’s tropical-tinged pop bangers, so it was no surprise that her latest release “Mama” is the fiery sonic clapback of our dreams. Created with Canadian production duo Banx & Ranx and also featuring the angelic vocals of Kiana Ledé, the track sees Ella Eyre blasting fuckbois and threatening to tell their mamas on them: “Naughty pictures on your phone / Only loyal to yourself, got no love for no one else / That’s not how you were brought up.”
And as to be expected, the visuals are an energetic ride of family portraits, house parties, road trips, endless wardrobes and cutting side-eyes at your BFF. Not to mention some seriously divine outfits from the singer herself: a cloud two-piece, snake-print dresses and 90s-style scrunchies.
