As the opening scene of the visceral music video for “Angeline” opens up, strong female athletes are seen stretching and sizing up each other on the court, later moving into complex manoeuvres, acrobatic positions and even dancing – as the camera slowly curls around them. Yes. We stan female empowerment, and so does Seramic.

Bolstered by the emerging R&B star’s caramel vocals, “Angeline” is a sun-soaked track filled with ragged guitar riffs and funky chords.

“I wanted to be really ambitious and make something epic with this video as Angeline is one of my favourite songs,” explains Seramic. “To continue some of the themes in my previous work depicting strong women, dancing and sports locations, we had the idea of shooting something in a stadium and were so excited when we found Lee Valley Athletics centre.”
