SHRIMPS × CONVERSE

The cult London-based brand has customised two of Converse’s classic designs.

When it comes to Christmas parties – or any parties, for that matter – heels are rarely your friend. And good going out trainers? Hard to come by.

Here to answer all your dancing shoe dreams is Shrimps, aka London-based designer Hannah Weiland, who’s given two pairs of Converse the ultimate distinctive makeover.

Known for her instantly recognisable work with colour, graphics and faux fur, Weiland’s designs rework two of Shrimps’ iconic prints: a powder pink version of the One Star is customised with the rose print and a hint of pink faux fur on the heel stay, and a pair of black and white classic Chuck 70s embellished with her Doodle face print – the first Weiland designed for the brand, which also decorates its deluxe packaging.

Check out the dreamy campaign below, and pick up one (or both) pairs from the collection from December 11th at Dover Street Market, and on December 13 on converse.com, shrimps.co.uk, and other select retailers, with items ranging from £35 to £100.
