It’s been 15 years since Busted brought out their second record A Present For Everyone and wowed everyone with their upbeat pop-punk stylings and lyrics you wouldn’t really understand until a few years later (cough, “I messed my pants when we flew over France”). Now they’re returning to that sound with their upcoming fourth record, Half Way There.
Announced today alongside UK arena dates for March, James says “If I was a Busted fan, I’d listen to this record and feel like I got my band back!” So we’re expecting bangers for days which still go off as much as “Crash The Wedding” does after over a decade…
The trio will also play London’s iconic 100 Club on Monday in their smallest ever show that sold out in two minutes. Maybe their seventh album outselling Michael Jackson isn’t too much of a dream after all?
