The Ports 1961 girl is always clean and polished to a tee, and this season she’s taking clean to a new level.
Creative Director Fiona Cibani stayed true to her usual decided lines with a feminine feel. Just one year out of New York and now in Milan, the Spring/Summer look had a certain European flair that showed cool, calm and chic. The usual colour palette, minimal and muted, was brightened with pops of pastel pink, baby blue and an unexpected warm earth tonal scheme. A beautiful silk tee shirt, as well a crepe-pleated dress and cotton pullover, donned a marigold sunset and dim clouds in the horizon that was an exciting twist to the Ports aesthetic.
This sunset print mirrored the easy flow of Cibani’s in-the-breeze flowy skirts and dresses. To our surprise, a chic silk sport bomber paired with a matching embellished skirt was the perfect high-low cool girl look.
Our favourite look was a two-piece snake embossed bralette and a-line pleated skirt. This look shown on Andreea Diaconu was sexy, refined and contemporary. This collection showed that clean girls have more fun!
