Circus freaks and woozy, post-dubstep synth as espoused by Israel’s finest seapunk-inspired producer.
Adi Ulmansky and her candy-coloured barnet already conquered our hearts with her Shit Just Got Real mixtape and its clattering, post-dubstep sound, so it’s a delightful surprise to find her in a more reflective mood in the video for Stop This Train. Swapping her previous 8-bit electronica for woozy, stop-and-start synths, it’s not so much a hi-NRG party track as a seductive end-of-the-rave slow jam.
The Israeli producer and singer already has an impeccable track record of warming up for Disclosure and Bondax as one third of her electro-rock band Lorena B, so we’re predicting big things.
The video includes a zebra, a fortune-teller, a sad clown and some interpretive dance. What more could you want?
