]]> The Hip-Hop icon is getting the Supreme collaboration treatment.

supreme x cdg 2If you’re getting tired of Supreme’s two party collaborations, then get ready for this three-way: Supreme and Comme des Garçons SHIRT have joined forces with a little bit of help from Timberland to create a new version of the iconic 6-Inch Premium  boot so beloved by rappers and workman alike. It’s not the first time that Supreme’s got together with Comme des Garçons  (remember their collection earlier this season?) or with Timberland, for that matter – they collaborated on a Field Boot this time last year.

This limited edition piece features a polka-dot panel as well as a printed logo on the collar (well it wouldn’t be Supreme without some flex-ready branding). The boot, available in both black and the classic wheat shade so familiar from every Hip-Hop video since ’94, will drop in stores this Thursday – as is traditional for any hype-worthy release from everybody’s favourite skate brand – so either get your online trigger-finger ready or prepare to brave the cold and get in line because this one’s bound to sell out fast.

]]> Rick Edwards stars in Timberland’s S15 campaign road testing the brand’s products between London and the Isle of Wight in ‘2 Days, 1 Bag, The Road Trip’.

Rick Edwards might have presented shows to millions and met most of the celebs in the country but he’s never crossed the Channel. Timberland gave him a helping hand and took him to the Isle of Wight to escape the hustle and bustle of the city as their style ambassador for S15. We see his transition from city slicker to country biker made quick and easy by selecting a capsule wardrobe from Timberland’s spring menswear collection to take him across his journey by bicycle, train and boat.

All conveniently packed into a Hookset Backpack, Rick was armed with a Mount Pierce Mac and Earthkeepers Revenia Chukka boots to protect him from the elements as well as River Crew Neck jumpers and Lake Twill Chinos, proving that all backpacking style doesn’t have to be cargo trousers, thick socks and anoraks. Anyone else up for an adventure?
