Rathsman

Once declared the ‘Future Star of 2013’ by BBC’s Radio 1, Swedish born Jonas Rathsman has burst onto the DJ scene with his unusual but simple mix of future garage style that have seen him grow from strength to strength. His latest mix released by Eton Messy is exemplary of this, proving most promising ahead of his tour with the Eton Messy boys this autumn.

Since launching in 2011 Eton Messy are known for their retro-tinted, ethereal garage mixes that now see them touring in sell-out shows across the country. Originally beginning as a YouTube channel to play mixes for house parties, it soon grew far bigger than members Adam Englefield, Charlie Wedd and Ed Byass could have ever imagined, resulting in the boys running their own record label.

Their premier of Jonas Rathsman’s latest mix is a clear example of their futuristic but nostalgic garage-meets-house aesthetic. this autumns tour will see Jonas entertain the crowds along with residents Blonde and Just Kiddin’, the likes of Karma Kid, Bodhi, Friend Within, TCT’s and Grades will also be in attendance later this October for what is expected to be a sell-out tour showcasing some game-changing music.
