Talk about making an impact! New London collective Koteri share their debut single, a moody, playful and groove-laden track that is cinematic and atmospheric whilst not taking itself too serious. The video is an absolute riot as well.

Bursting with dystopian sound waves depicting growth and the endless battle towards enlightenment, “Mess It Up Mad” offers some of the most vulnerable self-expression we’ve seen from Eugénie to date, with powerful wordplay blossoming from grief to cathartic as the Parisian star navigates a fading love interest. “I don’t know how to make you happy. You said you were but then you left me” she pleads as swirling synths and intimate vocal harmonies shift focus towards her own inner spirit, perfectly capturing a moment of self-realisation that begs the question: “How am I today?”.
