Wearing… Susan Fang x & Other Stories
The collab I have been so excited for! Susan Fang launched her brand in 2017, since then she has been LVMH Prize shortlisted and taken home the Creative Pioneer Award from the Yu Prize. The collaboration makes use of her signature pastels, nature-inspired fractal patterns and her beaded bubble-like accents. I’ll be wearing the flower necklace from the collection all summer long.

Shopping… DAY 6
DAY 6, phase 6 (PH006) launched April 25th. Their latest phase marks a new chapter, exploring effortless yet vibrant pieces. From electric blue zebra prints to striking sulphur iris florals, DAY 6 juxtaposes bold patterns with delicate yet fierce leopard prints embodying the fearless and effortlessly chic DNA of DAY 6. The brand was founded by friends united by a desire to make a statement in the fashion world. With an ethos anchored in bold, energetic design, DAY 6 seamlessly blends print and silhouette to create pieces that embody their signature “Saturday attitude”. They prioritise sustainability and conscientious consumerism, opting for small-scale, deliberate production runs, so be sure to catch the collection early. I have my eye on the iris print dress, which is perfect for a wedding I have coming up. Shop here.

Obsessed with… Steamery Stockholm
Steamery Stockholm are known for their chic, compact hand held steamers which are perfect for stylists and non stylists alike, great for travelling or if you just don’t have the space or time to be setting up an ironing board at home. I have been using their Pilo Fabric Shaver, which is not only the most soothing activity to date but all my knits now bobble free. Two birds, one stone.

Reading… Here for the Wrong Reasons by Annabel Paulsen and Lydia Wang
Do you ever watch The Bachelor and swear there’s chemistry between two of the contestants? Well, this one’s for you. Out on 21 May, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advanced copy of Annabel Paulsen and Lydia Wang’s Here for the Wrong Reasons, and I guarantee it’ll be your favourite summer read. A swoon-filled lesbian romcom, it follows Lauren and Krystin — two contestants on a reality dating television show — as they fall not for the leading man, but for each other. Steamy, hilarious, and completely feel-good, it will have you blushing, cheering, and tearing up at the same time. Basically, it’ll have you hooked. Pre-order here!

Admiring… Rona Liana Ahdout photography
New York-based photographer Rona Liana Ahdout bridges the gap between fashion editorials and photojournalism for work that feels as raw and honest as it does dreamlike and imaginative. This spirit is perhaps best captured in her recent show, Wings, which took over Brooklyn’s SHY Studios this past April in an exploration of nature, power, and intimacy. Capturing fleeting moments, the images give influence to the energy of the everyday — the momentum of revolution and how it feels to move through this life as a woman. See more of Rona’s work here.

Visiting… Paris 1874 Inventing Impressionism
The Paris 1874 Inventing Impressionism exhibit at the Musée d’Orsay is on until the middle of July and if you find yourself in Paris, you should definitely make time for it. It’s been 150 years since Monet, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Pissarro, Sisley, and Cézanne defied tradition and broke out on their own, and this exhibit not only curates their influential pieces but delves into the socio-political climate of the time and how the post-war climate of Paris following the Franco-German War of 1870 and a civil war sparked artists to rethink what they wanted to say with their art, and how they wanted to say it.

Eating… Taquiza

If, like myself, you are a deep-seated Peckhamite regardless of your geographical location, you are invariably looking for yet more fun things to do in the superior London area. Step in Taquiza, the charming New Mexican restaurant a stones throw away from Peckham Rye Station. The boutique spot is intimate with friendly welcoming staff, whilst the food is simply sumptuous. A gorgeous array of small plates, tacos and more, make sure you wash it down with a fruity-treat cocktail. Date night sorted!

Reading… Arrangements in Blue, by Amy Key
In the early days of 2024, I became (sort of) obsessed with the idea of spending one year “Boy Sober.” I can’t confirm or deny how well that’s going. But as a love-obsessed, living or thinking about relationships has been a big part of my life. I just love love. But, do I want love? if you’re single in your 20s, chances are you know what I’m talking about — and if you happen to answer ‘yes’, I’m not even going to start describing what life feels like in the trenches of dating apps. But what if, in this journey of overthinking and waiting, you become a long-term single? Laying her poetry on Joni Mitchell’s album Blue, not coincidentally a personal favourite, British writer Amy Key’s Arrangements in Blue is a novel-meets-memoir piece on the beautiful journey that can be a life lived by yourself. Until her 40s, at least.

Eyeing… Madomorpho’s Pink Pointe Pump
Nope, I’m not over the Balletcore fever — and Berlin-based indie brand Madomorpho’s Pink Pointe Pump is exactly the energy I’ll be channelling this summer. Just can’t get enough.
