One of our favourite emerging bands, Tough Cookie, celebrates the release of their new EP with a trip to Rotterdam for Left Of The Dial. We head along with them for the inside scoop.
Let’s just admit it, alright: Tough Cookie are great. They’ve just shared a cerebral, characterful sophomore EP, “Devotion”, which cements their position as one of London’s next best bands. They are active as can be on the road too – most recently heading over to Rotterdam for the much revered showcase festival Left Of The Dial. Below, they take Wonderland along for the ride.
Listen to the EP…
Moments after the release of our EP Devotion, it was chucking it down.
Walking around Rotterdam post show, probably on our way to the artist bar which was absolutely rammed and smelled like beer.
Scouring the city for the best music shop, shamelessly plugging our new EP to the cashier.
European tobacco, cheap and tasty.
Found Santa’s “Christmas tree”.
Saw some incredible bands over the weekend including our mates Tooth, who were incredible as always.
Pre-show, absolutely drenched and freezing.
We would be nothing without our pedals.
Show #2 was in a massive church, probably one of our favourite venues now, it was rammed and without a doubt the highlight of our trip.
We love Rotterdam and its people, thanks Left Of The Dial for having us, and thanks to everyone that came down to see us. “Devotion” our new EP is out now.
