In June, LIDO well and truly landed in London’s palm. Across six weekend dates, the new one-day festival brought massive headliners and must-attend events to Victoria Park, with the likes of Turnstile, Jamie xx and Charli xcx all bringing huge crowds out for an early summer boogie.

The festival have just announced their first name for the summer of 2026. Maribou State, the Herfordshire-born two piece of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, have established themselves as front-runners in soulful electronic music across the past decade and a half, still as prominent as ever some 14 years later. This year’s latest record Hallucinating Love was a critical and commercial high for the duo, and their elevation continues ever further with this announcement.

With plenty more names to be shared over the coming months, LIDO looks set to cement itself as a staple event in the calendar next summer. Early tickets here
