Alectra Rothschild / Masculina

@iwantmasculina

A Bachelor’s degree from Beckmans College of Design, a Master’s from Central Saint Martins, and past experiences at Iris Van Herpen and Mugler? CPHFW NewTalent Alectra Rothschild is a force to be reckoned with. With a focus on glamorous club wear and celebrating trans+ bodies, the designer’s brand Masculina stole the show this AW24 season.

Nicklas Skovgaard

@nicklasskovgaard

A master of craftsmanship and textile production, Nicklas Skovgaard designs and weaves his own fabrications, creating one-of-a-kind, minimal waste pieces that are absolutely fabulous. Romantic, enchanting, and playful, the AW24 collection was a highlight of the season.

TG Botanical

Ukrainian designer Tetyana Chumak’s nature-first label was born out of her experiences growing up in a farming family, and has since grown to become a symbol of sustainability and the possibility for harmony between the fashion industry and the planet. Working with natural fibres and organic dyeing techniques, her contemporary womenswear lines feel personal, intimate, and subtly revolutionary.

Rolf Ekroth

Another CPHFW NewTalent, Rolf Ekroth offered something entirely fresh this season, and there’s one look in particular that we can’t get out of our minds. Looking to his grandmother’s couch for coat inspiration, the designer turned an old sofa into something new — creating a nostalgia-infused experimental design with buttons mimicking polka dots. Absolutely obsessed.

Paolina Russo

Hailing from Toronto and France respectively, design duo Paolina Russo and Lucile Guilmard have been taking their London-based brand global. And, for a label focused on eco-conscious design, craftsmanship, and playful layering, what better place to venture into than Copenhagen? After winning the Zalando Visionary Award award last season, Paolina Russo returned to CPHFW — and with some incredible leg warmers.
