GWYN LOVE × LA+CH — “DIE A LITTLE LESS”

The Oklahoma-native singer and songwriter unites forces with the multi-platinum producer and composer in this new single, combining heartfelt lyrics with a punk mentality and electronic-pop beats.

“‘die a little less’ is about depression and the people in my life that remind me why I choose to stay and try to get better,” shares Gwyn Love speaking on their new single, “die a little less,” co-created with producer and composer La+ch. A rising artist from Oklahoma, Love sticks to a genre-defying take on their music and songwriting in this new single, taking a deep dive into their personal experiences and raw feelings. “Mental illness doesn’t go away and it is so overwhelming to deal with sometimes, but the people in my life really help me see hope in the future when I am feeling hopeless,” they add.

Drawing mainly from their own life experience, Love maintains they are hardly ever at a loss for words when it comes to songwriting — musical motivation and vision are always priority one. “I kind of just like to mesh all different styles together. I have a bluntness with my lyrics that you could find in punk music, but once I heard electronic dance music, that’s when my sound really clicked for me,” they explained. “shit I like it” and “pttrn” are other successful partnerships between Love and La+ch, which established his work as a producer in collaborations with Coleman Hell.
