Continuing to expand upon his whimsical and dreamlike realm, Janko unveils his inaugural music video for the track “I Can Be Your Housewife” taken from the vibrant feast that is his July EP “Cheap Glamorous”.

Venturing into the kaleidoscopic world of Bubba Janko, you’ll chance upon a meticulously crafted music video (brought to life on 16mm film by director and editor Josh Renaut) that playfully challenges the outdated conventions of gender roles. This video serves as the premiere cinematic representation of Janko’s artistry, highlighting the single “I Can Be Your Housewife” as the lead offering from his impending EP ‘Cheap Glamorous’.

“It’s a proud antidote to the misogynistic narratives that still dominate a lot of popular culture”, Janko explains. Set against the backdrop of engaging and evocative 80s-inspired beats, the demeanour of the Essex-raised singer and songwriter takes on a more earnest tone. He’s portrayed, whisk in hand, devotedly tending to his commanding and enigmatic wife — a modern-day empress too consumed with conquering the world to think about chores.

Within “Cheap Glamorous,” an assortment of five tracks collectively honours the flamboyant and vibrant world that shaped Janko’s upbringing.
