It’s easy to get lost in the hazy intricacies of German electronic duo Ameli Paul. First meeting in 2016, they quickly found themselves musically in-sync, with Paul’s compelling productions combining effortlessly with Ameli’s distinctive vocality. Last year’s debut album, Echoes of Memoria, and a slot supporting Monolink on tour rose the duo to new heights, and we have now been blessed with their latest sprawling and progressive artistic statement in the form of “Love For One Another”.

The new EP, released via MEIOSIS Records is a snapshot of modernism, a glossy and enticing affair that explores love and romanticism under the greying skies of reality. The title track fixates you through its instrumental delicacies, masterfully building the sonic palette until the dazzling, powerful vocals embrace the soundscape’s climax. “Hangry” is equally impressive, an evolutionary homage of different electronic sub-sounds, with the haunting vocals shining through against a heavy production backdrop. This is followed by a remixed version of the latter track from esteemed artist Skatman, who shares an interesting and provoking take on the track.
