EMELINE – “Everything I’m Not”

One of the leading lights of new wave pop, Rhode Island songstress EMELINE is solidifying her acclaim with every passing single. The latest kaladescopic offering comes in the shape of rousing anthem “Everything I’m Not”. Atop the spritely and enticing instrumental, EMELINE shines, spinning a narrative of self-worth and overcoming heartbreak on the uplifting, unique and ubiquitous number.

Fredo – “Everybody Knows”

This summer, UK rap is once again taking over our playlists! We’ve had new music from many of the big hitters across the scene, with the latest coming from West London’s Fredo. Returning with “Everybody Knows”, the rapper makes it clear that he’s coming back for the crown. Slick in his flow, Fredo rides the boisterous instrumental with charm, craft and finesse, leaving us eagerly awaiting further news. The race is hotting up!

tendai – “three.two”

Not many artists are as smooth with it as tendai. The multi-facet has returned with a three draft project, his second of the year, and doesn’t show any sign of showing down his artistic progression. An amalgamation of sound, mood and tone, the short but sweet EP is a testament to the versatility an vision of one of the brightest musicians in British music.

Trippie Redd ft. Skye Morales – “Took My Breath Away”

When it comes to the OG’s of the prolific Soundcloud era, Trippie Redd’s name stands strong as one that has stayed relevant 5 years on. His return with ‘Took My Breath Away’ featuring singer and girlfriend Skye Morales is a pop-infused love track that takes his listeners down a different avenue. Not only is it his first collaboration with Skye but it gives us a hint of what’s to come for the highly anticipated A Love Letter To You 5 album. Trippie has a lot of love on this side of the pond and we are looking forward to catching him during the festival season.

Kelvin Krash – “PROMISE YOU’LL WAIT”

Rising multi-talent Kelvin Krash is pushing the boundaries of his artistry. Known for his production credits for the likes of A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti and Skepta, this year he has really come into his own as an artist in his own right. This fresh single, “PROMISE YOU’LL WAIT”, delivers glitchy hyper pop with booming rhythm, ethereal vocals and captivating production intricacies.

JBEE – “DTB”

Fronting the new wave of UK drill, JBEE has been turning the heads of rap and commercial fans alike. Epitomised on new heater “DTB”, the young spitter combines vibrant drill-infused sonics with thoughtful lyricism. With a debut mixtape on the way in July, we are expecting big things from MOBO nominated rapper.

Samantha Urbani – “More Than A Feeling”

Best known for her work fronting the Brooklyn indie band Friends, Samantha Urbani is no stranger to success and artistic excellence. Her inconsistent solo releases look set to become more regular, with her latest electro pop gem “More Than a Feeling”. Lyrically visceral, instrumentally nostalgic and vocally dazzling, the new single is a ballad for the ages, destined to provide the soundtrack for a dramatic finale in a romance film at some point in the next five years.

Berna ft. Suspect OTB – “No SRT’s”

One of East London’s finest, Berna is on track to cement his place in the upper echelons of UK rap. His forthcoming mixtape – “EAST2ESSEX” is just round the corner, and the artist has now teased us further with the third offering from the project. “No SRT’s” sees Berna link up with legendary spitter Suspect OTB for a bouncy hard hitting hard that showcases a nuanced technical ability and the depth of both rapper’s lyrical acumen.

Kota The Friend – “Barcelona”

Kota The Friend is carving his own lane as one of the most recognisable and multi-talented voices across the rap landscape. Ahead of his highly anticipated project Protea, the Brooklyn native has released his sun-kissed anthem “Barcelona” – a warm, jazz-infused number which sees him trade bars alongside South London talent Samm Henshaw. The two display an electric synergy, floating in their own introspection, envisioning the sensibilities of self-realisation while inspiring a generation to follow their dreams. Delivering a glimpse into the sleek, summer vibrations to follow, Kota is blazing to new heights and shows no sign of slowing down.

Night Tapes — “Perfect Kindness”

Night Tape’s new EP, “Perfect Kindness”, is the perfect soundtrack to all your late nights. From the warm opening track, “Selene”, to the captivating closer, “Silent Song”, the project is as expansive as it is comprehensive. With a groovy dance track, “Inigo”, the glorious focus track, “Moonrise”, the atmospheric title track, and the nostalgic “Humans (Elevated Mix)”, Night Tapes’ third EP might just be their best one yet. Combining reality with fantasy, “Perfect Kindness” is a fever dream of shimmer and beats.

Creature — “Ay Yo (ft. Trifon Dimitropoulos)”

The London-based Dutch drummer and producer Creature. has a new single, and it’s one you’re going to want to play on repeat. A collaborative track, it features New Jersey’s Trifon Dimitropoulos, bringing Dutch electronics together with East Coast hip hop and jazz. The result is something comfortably old school yet completely one-of-a-kind. “Ay Yo” serves as the second single from Creature.’s upcoming EP, “Where This Body Goes, My Mind Flows”, and we can’t wait for more.

Zoey Lily — “Too Many Nights”

It’s a soft girl summer and Zoey Lily has the perfect soundtrack to all your dreamy sunrises and sunsets. Her new EP, “Too Many Nights”, is whimsical alt-pop at its finest, with poetic lyrics and ethereal soundscapes that come together in an effortless whirl of delicacy and introspection. All six songs are purposeful, intricate, and absolute standout tracks. “When the rest of the world is asleep, I feel most connected to myself and find comfort in my own solitude,” shares Zoey. “’Too Many Nights’ is the story of my late night thoughts and feelings. A mirror of my own reflection. My journey of growing & learning to love myself.”

Bricknasty — “guilt2001”

Bricknasty’s debut EP, “INA CRUELER”, is out now — and with it comes the focus track, “guilt2001”. The Dublin band worked with Tomike and Chi-Chi on the experimental and soulful R&B song. With jazz influences and sultry vocals, it stands out even amongst its stunning counterparts. Positioned near the beginning of the 10-track project, it sets the scene for what’s to come. And what’s to come is an artistic masterpiece. Just trust us.

UraelB — “Moonlight (ft. Mick Jenkins)”

Urael and Mick come together beautifully on “Moonlight”, a smooth alt-hip-hop track out today. The lyrics see both artists delve deep into their inner thoughts, coming in and out of a place of poetic introspection between the infectious, summery sweet chorus. As dynamic as its namesake suggests, this one is already in all our playlists for the season.

Grace Carter — “RIOT”

Plucked from her forthcoming EP, “A Little Lost, A Little Found”, Grace Carter’s new single is chilling, powerful, and breathtaking. Though her vocals are always strong, they are exceptionally striking in “RIOT”, as she sings with clarity and strength about the emotional turmoil caused by racial injustice. Building into a chorus that could fill stadiums, she uses her voice for good.

Luna Morgenstern — “Dance Dance (Don’t Go)”

Amsterdam-based artist, producer, and innovator Luna Morgenstern has a new EP and it’s absolutely stellar. Featuring the new single “Summerlove”, “Dance Dance (Don’t Go)” is a collection of dance-pop tracks, each offering their own take on a fantasy-infused reality. The diverse array of subject matter and mood makes for a comprehensive coming-of-age project — one full of nostalgia, anticipation, melancholia, and euphoria.

Ivorian Doll – “Big Bad IVD”

Sampling the iconic 50 Cent single “P.I.M.P”, Ivorian Doll returns to the rap scene with highly anticipated track “Big Bad IVD”. An empowering and highly addictive track, IVD is shifting into her pop star era and ditching her “Queen of Drill” label. Talent, drive, charisma and liberation , she embodies everything the UK rap scene is missing – IVD is here to stay and is claiming this year as her own.

David Arlo – “Speeding”

Starting afresh, London-born Nigerian multi-talented artist, David Arlo drops latest tune “Spending”. A true trailblazer within the electro-R&B scene, this tracks promises a heartfelt take on profound themes of self-worth and personal growth. “Speeding” is true testament to Arlo’s extraordinary signature sound that will be sure to skyrocket this hit into the charts.

BLK ODYSSY – “Diamonds & Freaks”

Alice Merton – “Charlie Brown”

British-German alt-pop artist blesses us with playful and electric new offering, “Charlie Brown.” This incredibly catchy tune captures the story of a man who is stuck in a repetitive rut, with his past continuously haunting him. Merton has whole-heartedly grabbed our attention with this vibrant single and is undeniably steadfast in her signature-sound career.

Tomsy- “Blurry”

The electrifying pop extraordinaire captivates with latest offering “Blurry”. With synthwave elements that will teleport you into a world of good vibes only, Tomsy’s talents shine through this stellar single.

Zikai- “Rush Hour”

Genre blending artist, Zikai, drops seductive new track “Rush Hour”, a hedonistic take on partying until the the sun rises. With a mix of enthralling vocals and uptempo beats, the artist captivates the listener and transcends them into passenger seat with her.
