As Loyle Carner emerged on stage at The Vaults, One Marylebone, every guest was utterly captivated. With red tinted lights and two floors of speakeasy-esque glamour, exclusive intimacy radiated from the walls of the Strawberries & Creem (S&C) and HUGO collaboration. As the first chapter of S&C Presents HUGO Nights, the event brought together leading artists, emerging talent, fashion influencers, and creative individuals. The intimate underground venue served as the perfect backdrop to a night of music, drinks, and celebration. Transformed by HUGO’s signature red, referencing the new HU-GO1ST sneaker drop, it was an intimate and personal event with the biggest names in the industry. The party embodied youth culture and the future of music, as guests danced to Loyle Carner’s set, posed for photos, and mingled with one another. The Mercury-nominated British hip-hop artist was supported by DJs Paris Francis, Keyrah, and Isaac Carter, as well as Strawberries & Creem co-founders and resident DJs Chris Jammer and Cardinal Sound — a lineup that kept guests entertained all night.
The mission of the event was in line with that of the HU-GO1ST drop. Characterised by pops of HUGO red, a curved and chunky profile, and reflective laces, the shoe is bold. Making a statement and encouraging wearers to stand out and embrace their individuality, the shoes are designed to elevate any look and evoke confidence. Likewise, the event celebrated creativity and self-expression, as it further positioned the brand at the forefront of fashion and music.
In attendance were Mabel, Bugzy Malone, Mr Eazi, Micheal Ward, Ash Holme, Tobi Brown, Taylah Elain, Kenny Allstar, TSUNARI, Hope Ikpku Jnr, Ray BLK, Kadeem Ramsay, and fans who won tickets via a ballot.
This marks the first chapter of a series, which will continue with secret London locations and top musical acts.
