KICK GAME × DISNEY+ – WHITE MEN CAN’T JUMP REMAKE

The two titans have joined together to celebrate the remake of the classic movie.

Kick Game have teamed up with Disney+ to celebrate the release of 20th Century Studios’ White Men Can’t Jump. This monumental collaboration is a true dream team, with both having such nostalgic ties within streetwear history.

The partnering kicked off with a pre-screening of the remake at Kick Games flagship Covent Garden store, hosted by Craig Mitch, presenter of Kick Game’s renowned You Tube series – Sneaker Shopping. The evening consisted of basketball themed competitions, live DJs and attendance of special guests, including Sienna King, and captain of GB Basketball team, Myles Hesson.

White Men Can’t Jump first graced the screens in 1992, with Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson leading the American sports comedy film, written and directed by Ron Shelton. Today’s refresh stars the likes of Sinqua Walls as Kamal, a promising player who finds himself jeopardising his own basketball career, and multi-platinum rap icon Jack Harlow, debuting his acting career as a former player whose injuries obstructed his future with the game. Relationships, money and internal battles allow the two, who seemingly appear to be total opposites, to come together and navigate their love for sport as one.

Following the release of the remake on Disney+, Kick Game will be holding competitions exclusively at Kick Game UK store locations. Prizes include an Ultimate Home Entertainment bundle, premium sneakers and basketballs.
