BATHHOUSE STUDIOS

Get to know New York’s sparkling, recently-renovated events and studio space, nestled in the East Village.

Bathhouse Studios is back and better than ever before! The stellar studio and event space has been meticulously renovated over the past three years, and is ready to become the driving force behind the creative scene in the East Village. Located in the heart of the art world at 538 East 11th Street in New York City, Bathhouse Studios is a luxurious 6,000 sq. ft. street-level production venue that is purpose-built for your next big idea.

Originally built as a bathhouse in the 1890s, the historical landmarked space has been reimagined and redesigned to meet the needs of today’s creative professionals. Bryce Ebel, Director of Operations, explains that the newly designed studio was inspired by Japanese zen gardens, with the aim of promoting mindfulness and allowing clients to tap into their creative process.

The renovated space features the latest forward-thinking amenities, including touch-less door technology and a state-of-the-art air filtration system, making sure guests feel secure and safe. With two cycloramas for photo shoots, 19’ high ceilings, drive-in access for car launches, and a 37’ long whitewashed brick wall, Bathhouse Studios is the perfect venue for your next photo shoot, press event, seated dinner, runway show, film screening, or whatever your heart desires.

Accommodating up to 250 people for a cocktail-style event, or 125 people seated for an intimate private dinner there’s oodles of space to choose from. Bathhouse Studios also includes access to a chef’s kitchen located in Studio B and a full line of in-house photographic equipment for rent to support your production needs. The freestanding building offers ease and flexibility, making the logistics of any event seamless.

The Bathhouse has a long history of being located in the middle of the East Village, which has been the playground for prolific artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Jeff Koons. The studio was purchased by Eddie Adams, the famous Pulitzer Prize-winning wartime photographer, in 1995, who made Bathhouse his private residence and photographic studio space. Now, with its modern, luxurious approach and attention to detail, Bathhouse Studios is ready to face the East Village’s arts scene.

So whether you’re planning your next big event or looking for the perfect studio for your next photoshoot, look no further than Bathhouse Studios. With its rich history, modern amenities, and dedicated team, Bathhouse Studios is the perfect place to make your dreams a reality.
