PREMIERE: CAM KAHIN – “TRY AGAIN”

The Toronto-hailing hitmaker is back to bite with a riffing new single.

Toronto-based Cam Kahin is shaking up the game with the release of his latest single, “try again” – an anthemic track that promises to lift spirits with its major-key power chord riffing. This track is the lead single from his forthcoming debut EP, “WHEN IT’S ALL OVER,” set to be unleashed on April 6th under Dine Alone Records.

In the words of Kahin, “try again” is a rock song that’s super self-aware. It’s punchy, aggressive, and yet allows space to breathe with a melodic chorus. The song is almost tongue-in-cheek, and it’s a testament to Kahin’s ability to create music that is both catchy and meaningful.

Accompanying the release of “try again” is a music video directed by Lebni Thodakee Avitia, capturing the essence of the song perfectly. Avitia explains that the idea for the video was actually Cam’s. The video captures the uneasy feeling of things coming back into your life that cause a disruption and trying once again to stick it out. It’s simple yet intricate, and it perfectly complements the vibe of the song.

Kahin’s musical journey has been a whirlwind of success, and he’s gearing up for his first headlining hometown show at Toronto’s Hard Luck Bar on April 14th. The show promises to be a celebration of his debut EP, and fans can expect an electrifying performance from the rising star. We see you, Cam!
