When design meets fragrance. Acqua di Parma has long been heralded for its impeccable Italian craftsmanship, and one of its shining outputs is the Colonia fragrance. An instant classic, its scent has lasted the test of time. In a move of re-contextualisation, Acqua di Parma enlists revered design powerhouse Samuel Ross to create the Colonia Limited Edition.

The sparkling new bottle of the limited edition fragrance was dreamed up by Samuel Ross’ industrial design studio, SR_A, Ross based in London. Marking the first bloom of their three-year collaboration, this scent plays with the idea of duality. The Colonia Limited Edition contains multitudes – as it’s an act of both preservation and renovation.

Celebrating the timelessness of the scent, Ross’ evolving design brings the Colonia into the future. Exuding an industrialist aesthetic, Ross drew inspiration from the urban cityscapes of Milan and London. Bringing the sun into the equation, it’s as if the Colonia bottle shines over a metropolitan scene.

Where senses are concerned, the liquid itself is consistent to when it was first unleashed in 1916. A golden, citrus-blend – the Colonia is entrenched in the Maison’s codes. Set to drop globally this March, customers will be able to lap up all that this meeting of minds has to offer.
