Indie-folk is served up in its most delectably ruminative form on Thomas Ventura’s latest single “Nickels & Dimes”. Musing on the emotional multiplex one can endure when you lose someone you love, “’Nickels & Dimes’ is a song about losing someone you love because your ego won’t let you stop chasing something you’re not even sure you believe in,” Ventura says of the track.

Inviting guitars lure you into Ventura’s irresistible indie-folk melodies in the gentle, sombre ballad that still oozes the warmest of humanity between its shadows. His affecting vocal has been compared to Shawn Mendes, something his ability to encapsulate your emotions whilst delivering a magnetic pop track attests to with ease.

It’s only the third track from Ventura following October’s cover of timeless Christmas classic “Winter Wonderland” and September 2020 debut “No Friend of Mine”. With “Nickels & Dimes” he delivers a trifecta, and we can only anticipate the next move the burgeoning talent will make.
