“Silius” – a triad of songs by the Scandinavian producer Jeremy Olander, denote the end of the hiatus the artist took from making music. Coming back with a bang, we’re glad to see that Olander’s musical fortitude hasn’t dwindled since his time away. The EP’s three tracks feature two original outputs. “Silius” – the track after which the body of work is titled, is coupled up with a blazing remix by the powerhouse duo Alfa Romero. The other, “Graincluster”, stands alone – although it without a doubt holds its own ground.

The tracks play off of each other, in a melodic – almost playful way. Olander’s beats and synthesizers percolate and syncopate, which over time crescendo into a sonic release. With nods of recognition from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Spotify, this producer’s comeback has reignited the fire. Olander’s skillset, which allows him to meander between House and Techno, set him apart from his contemporaries. And, with club nights and festivals on the horizon – there’s no sign of him slowing down.
