As the cosy sentiments of Autumnal mornings fall into motion across the UK, Alexander McQueen keeps us hopeful for seasons anew — returning to London for the second time since the pandemic to stage its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2023 show. Following the unveiling of the brand’s mushroom-inspired Autumn/Fall 2022 collection in New York, creative director Sarah Burton decided to revisit a celebration of togetherness. Teasing the new show with a 15-second clip, the visual shows a collection of materials that slowly bind together to create a whole person — uniting the threads between fashion and its people, bringing a feel of togetherness full circle.
Taking this theme one step further, McQueen brings an extra sense of community into its circle by live-streaming the event, which will be open for all to access once the show commences today at 1pm BST.
