“This video would have been great if Twilight was in the ‘80s”, says vocalist Bradley Scott of American duo Emarosa. On “Stay” the electro-pop makers unpack the perils of knowing in your head that something is not good for you, a sentiment that they confirm as they confess to the feeling being such a dangerous hunger” you “can’t help” on their latest release. It’s a need for something as compulsive as a vampire’s thirst or a werewolf’s hunger that the duo convey on “Stay”, making the latter mythical creature the ideal visual representation to bring the song to life in the pair’s music video.

Sporting baseball jackets and situated largely in a classic American diner, the eccentricism of “Stay” is harnessed by former hard-rockers Scott and guitarist ER White’s turn as werewolves in the wacky video. It offers listeners a taste of the idiosyncrasies ahead as the pair prepare to release new album Sting on January 27th, escalating the already-deafening hype.
