Opening with an ethereal glitch, Sara Marie Barron’s “Three Hours” instantly feels like a fever dream — one that is addictively soothing yet poignantly introspective. Diving deep into a narrative about the otherworldly feelings that come with falling in love, Sara “wonders where this feeling is gonna land” while fittingly equipped with angelic wings — a seamless reflection of the track’s elegance and grandeur. Sultry in tempo and infused with Sara’s sugar-sweet vocals, the melody builds to a crescendo that eradicates troubles, allowing them to melt into a chime-charged backing track, making for a cathartic addition to your go-to playlist.

Speaking on the track and lyric video, Sara explains, “‘Three Hours’ is a transic, meditative piece on feeling stuck. Sonically, it transports you to the mood I was in when I wrote the song – anxiously ruminating on what the future will look like for my partner and me.  While the mood feels heavy, it ultimately resolves in an explosion of passion and clarity – the only thing I’m certain of is unwavering love for the person in question.”

Hacked from her forthcoming EP “Angel Numbers” due August 19th, “Three Hours” goes to great lengths to demonstrate the raw lyricism and authentic delivery that makes Sara’s take on uncertainty, love, sex and self-worth feel totally new — a quality that only builds anticipation for her EP to drop.
