Whether you love them or hate them, the supremacy of a slasher film is something that is almost impossible to deny. And while Bodies, Bodies, Bodies has already garnered a hell-raising hype of its own thanks to its star-studded cast, including Pete Davidson and Rachel Sennott, it would appear A24 is not done nailing the thriller to the very top of our must-watch list for the coming year.

Unveiling a second chest-pounding trailer, we watch as the routine opening scenes of a frat-party-turned-blood-bath feature begin to take form — only to be turned on its head with cutting satire, gory deaths and edge-of-your-seat suspicion. As the group of hedonistic teens engage in an innocent murder mystery-style game, the trailer shows that the make-believe quickly becomes reality — with dead bodies slowly forming a breadcrumb trail towards the friendship group’s real murderer.

As any of A24’s efforts will attest to, they rarely do anything by halves. With even the two-minute clip keeping you guessing at every frame, we know one thing is for sure — this August is going to be the start of scared girl summer.
