Despite what its title may imply, the track is a dark and murky effort — forcing us to face the burdens we so often try to hide in the daylight. Though “Pink Ferrari” boasts an infectious groove that commands dance-along energy, the underluing narrative is laced with helplessness and defeat — mimicking the ways in which mental health issues often go untraceable in everyday life.

“Pink Ferrari is all about accepting your inner demons. Loving your flaws and ugly parts and inviting them with you to the ride of life. There is so much stigma with mental health and it feels like every day, that stigma grows smaller. ‘Pink Ferrari’ is all about holding it with confidence and keeping them close so that they don’t take over your life in silence,” says KTJ & CARLY.
