Following the likes of Lady Gaga and Harry Styles, Dua Lipa is swapping her microphone for a script as she prepares to feature in Apple TV+’s forthcoming thriller, Argylle. Though the streaming platform has remained tight-lipped on the nature of the Future Nostalgia stars role, the crumbs leading up to the features upcoming trailer have officially started to drop — and we are here to collect. In the words of Argylle director Matthew Vaughn, “This is going to reinvent the spy genre.” As Jason Fuchs adapts the script from Ellie Conway’s unreleased novel, the plot stays true to it’s genre by remaining top-secret. Nonetheless, we can tell you the picture will follow the world’s greatest spy on a global adventure — one which according to the outlet will be “Expected to be the first of at least three films in the franchise and is set in America, London and multiple locations across the world.”

Reports are all pointing towards Henry Cavill to take the lead, who will be joined by Lipa along with John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, Catherine O’Hara and others. According to reports, the leading spy is an amnesiac, tricked into believing he’s a best-selling novelist — but how each star is involved within the story remains very much a mystery, and we cannot wait to find out.
