Pumping some much needed energy into our weekend is JZ, who collaborated with Bandito to deliver hot new track, “Why Do I?” Yet another sample of JZ’s cool-cut R&B soundscape, the track incorporates a commercial appeal to hook its listeners, taking them on a journey of high-energy escapism. The narrative poses as the perfect response to a friend in need of relationship advice — making it all the more relatable and enjoyable. With the distinctive raw vocals of JZ matched by the masterful flow of Bandito, the track forms a monumental stepping stone towards JZ’s upcoming EP release.

Upon the release of the single, JZ tells us, “I’m excited about this track as it’s a personal favourite of mine. I know we can all relate to these time wasting relationships. And we catch ourselves asking ‘Why Do I? (pun intended)”.

Calling upon legendary producers Aaron Martyn and Darren Martyn (Tom Zanetti/ M.O) to help create the track, we can only imagine the direction JZ’s new music will take this coming year. Her EP, “Seasons of the Streets” is expected to drop in late February.
