If you have never heard of the Shanghai-based Gen Z designer duo, Shushu/Tong, then we really have some news for you. Experimental in style and rebellious by nature, the pair have quickly established themselves at the top of their game, receiving industry-wide respect in the process. Fusing against-the-grain shapes with an essence of raw femininity, they launch an exciting new collaboration with CHARLES & KEITH — a brand dedicated to the empowerment of women through free flowing fashion.

Becoming the second designer to have worked alongside CHARLES & KEITH behind Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen, the partners have worked closely together to create two sets of coordinating handbags and flats. Available in a choice of two colours – red or black – the pieces are every bit as charming as they are unique. From the patent leather block heels, to the narrow buckle straps and 3D rose appliqué trimmings, the collection is tangibly reminiscent of youth — paying homage to the designers’ creative concept of a beauty that cannot last forever.

With the launch itself speaking volumes for both labels’ dedication to embolden their consumers within an urban city life context, the modest collection is just a glimpse of what is to come for both partners in the coming year.
