Miguel Pregueiro – “For The Night”

The year may have only just started, but we’ve already got glasses of wine at a rooftop bar on our minds. In tow with an irresistibly flirtatious cadence and rhythmic flow, Miguel Pregueiro dropped his new single “For The Night” — the perfect backing track for our summer-longing fantasies. Featured alongside a cam-corder visual of Spanish sand and sea, Miguel marries his skill for creating infectious pop beats with his Portuguese roots. Listen to this track for that summer feeling all year long.

24kGoldn – “The Top”

Next up is a treat for the eyes as well as the ears, as 24kGoldn drops the highly-anticipated video for fan-favourite single “The Top”, hacked from his most recent album, El Dorado. Arguably one of the best songs from the track list, the visual proves just as playful as the artist’s melodies and switching flow. Under clear skies and overarching palm trees, his punching bars make an effortless show of the artist’s rap-meets-singing style.

Central Cee – “Retail Therapy”

If we are being honest, the first week of January can really drag. And if we were to choose the perfect way to lull us out of our work-week, it has to be with Central Cee. Crashing onto our Wonderlist with new track “Retail Therapy”, the rapper combines a plethora of cold synths with polished saxophone samples. Lead by barrels of hard-hitting bars, we’re sure to have this on repeat until the drop of his mixtape in February.

Armaan Malik – “You”

Given all the recent festivities, it’s fair to say our sad-girl playlist is seriously lacking in new material. In a precious track about all those romance-novel-worthy sentiments of love, Armaan Malik offers us the perfect top up with new single, “You”. Just in case the charming production and melancholic soundscape doesn’t plummet you straight in your feels, Malik also released an accompanying music video. And yes, it is sickeningly sweet, in the very best way possible.

Gunna – “Private Island”

When thinking of the ideal soundscape to carry you swiftly into the weekend, we knew it had to be at least one of the tracks featured on Gunna’s freshly dropped album, DS4EVER. Kicking off the tape is the ethereal single “Private Island”, a nostalgia-triggering production featuring an acoustic trap instrumental. Lending his vocals to a narrative about how the artist lives his best life, the track poses as the ultimate escapism for a blissfully zen and care-free weekend.
