It’s new music Friday and we’re currently soaking up all the new tunes and that includes Wild Rivers’ “Neon Stars”. Taking a strip backed approach to their new single, the trio take us through a serene laid-back production filled with blissful harmonies and intricate melodies. Diving in deep on past emotions and relationships, the group beautifully reminisce on times past, detailing their history and memories.
Speaking on the single, Khalid Yassein said, “Caitlyn is one of those people where you can tell that she was born to write songs. I had this idea that I couldn’t figure out for a long time, and after showing it to her, within a minute she figured out the puzzle like it was nothing. Songwriters that have that magic and humility are a rare breed. Not to mention it was pretty special to hear her voice sing it in the room.”
Due to be apart of their new album Sidelines, the group are set further explore their collective impressions as they get through the trials of being a mid-20s adult in the 21st century. Co-produced by Peter Katis, the album is due to drop in February alongside their UK and Ireland tour.
