It’s all about Gucci once again as Italy’s biggest luxury designer confirm their return to an industry-organised fashion week after a two-year absence. The brand revealed they will be showcasing a fresh mixed-gender collection in Milan in February 2022, with plans to stage two more shows the following late spring and September. Following the explosive display of feathered frocks and sequinned silks that stormed the Hollywood Boulevard during Gucci’s Love Parade, we can’t wait to see what will be the next instalment from the notorious Italian house.

While lockdown posed a huge obstacle for designers worldwide, Gucci styled their innovative reputation to the extreme. Stepping off the runway, creating films of fashion, uploading virtual catwalks and staging destination events are just some of the ways in which the designer label have embraced the post-pandemic affects of Covid on an industry dependent on creative and physical freedom.

Their current endeavour – #TheHackerProject – featuring a collaboration with one of Kering’s French brands, Balenciaga, embodies the emblematic structure of the French brand transformed by the style so carefully garnered by Gucci. Considering their attention to detail is only becoming all the more refined, we cannot wait to see what’s next in store. Not to worry, we’ll be sure to keep the Gucci gang updated.
