While modern-day music is worthy of its own praise, nothing quite compares to the music of past eras. And, the glam-punk collective, Roxx Revolt And The Velvets are here to prove it with their new 70s inspired track “Supersonica Girl”. In a bid to give their fans a taste of what is to come and prove that they are ones to watch in 2022, the band released their latest track, one that is sure to have them rocking out and in a euphoric trance.
When speaking on the new track, the band claimed “it’s a feel-good song! It’s a song that gets in your body and makes you feel like you have to move, the kind of song that you can sing while you’re driving or having a fun night with your friends and makes you want to get up and dance. At the same time, it hits you with some classic-rock inspired guitar licks to get your headbanging. It’s a lot of fun!”
And, while the track’s sound is sure to have you transported into the electric party scene synonymous with the era, the brand’s accompanying music video is here to ensure that this is a certainty. With an admiring fangirl finding herself journeying through the TV and into the depths of a Roxx Revolt and The Velvets’ music video, the collective’s latest set of visuals comes complete with glitter-adorned drums and rotating disco balls, satisfying the inner retro-fanatic in those watching.
